Building the Ravenel Bridge

After all the photos I took, I've tried to arrange them in some order based on various topics I found interesting.

We must be still and still moving
Into another intensity
For a further union, a deeper communion

May 27 2005:The East Bay ramp is joined with the Meeting Street Ramp

Looking north (left) and south (right)

Looking from East Bay - it is mostly over - Bicycle fence is almost complete.

Here you can see the divergence from East Bay onto the on ramp as well as the bicycle lane.

From the Meeting Street on ramp. Lane markers are painted

Looking from the main west approach. Lane markers are in place.

A digital sketch of the approach view - what feature is absent?

The west backspan. You can see Wednesday night's pavement curing (right).
